University of Utah's Freeride Ski Program 

The Freeride Program serves to facilitate a competition team for students interested in freeride skiing and snowboarding. Through pooling resources and knowledge, the freeride program will be able to cultivate community and culture to help remove financial barriers and get people excited about the sport.

The team will represent the University of Utah at Freeride World Qualifier events throughout the winter season and will strive to encourage improvement and progression in skiing and snowboarding.

Since 2019 the Freeride Program was created by a group of big mountain athletes passionate about skiing. The program is a fully student-run organization and is non-profit. They wanted to create this organization to make opportunities for athletes to come together to ski and compete.
